AI4ALL (artificial intelligence for all) is a new non-profit with the mission of bringing diversity and inclusion to artificial intelligence development, research, education and policy. The impact of AI on society is one of the more important questions facing humanity and we hope to drive the agenda that emphasizes AI’s potential to solve an incredibly diverse set of important societal problems. AI4ALL was founded by leading technologists including Dr. Fei-Fei Li, Director at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and Chief Science of AI/ML, Google Cloud and seed funded by Melinda Gates (Pivotal Ventures) and Jensen Huang (CEO/Founder of NVIDIA). AI4ALL's core model is educating and supporting the next generation of diverse leaders in AI through summer camps for underrepresented high school students at leading Universities including: Stanford, UC Berkeley, Princeton, Carnegie Mellon and Boston University. AI4ALL is scaling its impact in 2018 and is seeking a driven individual to help us build and scale a new AI education program.
About the Position
AI4ALL has developed a highly effective AI Summer Camp for underrepresented high school students in partnership with top technologists and research institutions across North America. Now, thanks to new funding, we are building and launching a new program to scale the AI curriculum beyond the summer camp to millions of young people worldwide. This role, a new position beginning in 2018, will be responsible for leading this initiative from the ground up- from developing and launching the pilot program to building and resourcing a scaling strategy. This critical role will help the organization scale and make transformative impact to democratize access and increase inclusion in Artificial Intelligence. This position reports to the CEO and are based at the organization’s headquarters in Oakland, CA. The primary job duties include:
